PeopleClick Authoria introduced Collaborate, designed to streamline communication throughout an organization to extend the brand promise, enhance employee engagement and increase productivity.

Collaborate is designed with four main pillars. The first pillar, Promote, is designed to allow companies to strengthen the employer-to-candidate relationship by pushing out consistent communication via RSS feeds, blogs and search engines, and includes Google Analytics and search-engine optimization to increase traffic to job postings.

The second pillar, Reach, is designed to leverage Web 2.0 technologies to expand referral networks, while Mobile, the third pillar, gives candidates the ability to search, apply and monitor their applications and select interview times on any browser-enabled mobile device.

Engage, the fourth pillar, is designed to let HR build rapport with new hires, as well as retain employees by recognizing accomplishments and providing coaching to help sustain performance.

Compensation Data Suite

Salary.com unveiled its CompAnalyst Suite, which includes new features designed to help compensation professionals improve the utilization of compensation data and make better pay decisions.

The suite includes a new job-match matrix for survey management, which is designed to help compensation professionals streamline the process of matching jobs from multiple surveys to existing jobs with their organization. It also includes more than 3,900 benchmark jobs in the United States and more than 700 in Canada.

The suite also offers a job-import wizard as well as new geographic roll-up reporting features for any geographic scope in the United States, including ZIP codes. CompAnalyst Market Data is designed to also allow one or multiple jobs to be included in a single report, which can then be exported and shared.

The suite also features pay analytics, salary structures, merit modeling and executive benchmarking.

HR and Benefits Services

Workforce Now Comprehensive Services is ADP's latest offering of HR services for mid-sized organizations.

The new product is designed to provide a flexible, integrated solution for managing HR, benefits, payroll, time and attendance, and talent management for organizations with 1,000 employees or less.

The offering is built on ADP's Workforce Now platform and includes access to an assigned team of specialists who provide guidance, transaction processing and best-practice recommendations in areas such as recruiting, employee relations, benefits administration, training and regulatory compliance. The specialists also provide administrative support to clients.

David, the Benefits Counselor

Jellyvision Lab unveiled its Benefits Counselor, an interactive, online multimedia experience that's designed to eliminate the confusion and anxiety employees face when learning about their benefits.

The application features a virtual host named David, who guides employees through their available benefits, asks questions and offers benefit-plan recommendations to each participant based on their answers, which are analyzed in real time against specific plan details in order to provide recommendations best suited to the individuals.

Healthcare-Reform Solutions

Thompson Publishing Group and AHC Media partnered to release three new products designed to help organizations understand how healthcare-reform changes will affect their employees, their responsibilities and their bottom lines.

The first product, Health Care Reform: What You Need to Know Right Now, is an online special report that summarizes the provisions of the new healthcare law most pertinent to employers in the near term, and is free to subscribers of Thompson's employee-benefits publications.

The second product is a series of 90-minute interactive webinars designed to demystify the provisions of reform and offer insights into implementation of the laws' coverage mandates. It includes practical guidance from noted experts in the field.

AHC Media released the third product, a new book on healthcare reform titled The New Health Care Reform Law: What Employers Need to Know (A Q&A Guide), which includes more than 500 questions on the topic.

Time and Attendance

Celayix Software released the latest version of its eTime Xpress product, which contains significant enhancements.

The new offering includes FingerTRAX, a badge terminal that uses fingerprint-reading technology (even though no actual fingerprint images are used, in order to protect user privacy). The biometric technology is designed to be used either as a stand-alone or in tandem with various card-reader technologies.

It also includes EtherTRAX, designed to meet the growing demand for easy interfacing to existing LANs or WANs; as well as XPOCKET, a pocket-sized, portable solution designed to use a three-key interface to identify an operator, workplace or activity being performed by remotely reading the code of an RFID tag.

The new version also includes SuperTRAX, a badge and/or biometric terminal based on Windows CE 5.0 technology and designed to offer time-clock capabilities and an array of other Windows applications.

Taleo Corp. launched Talent Analytics, part of a new framework designed to help organizations grow by improving their insight into the strengths, weaknesses and potential of their current workforces.

The framework includes embedded analytics across the entire product suite, and the Taleo cloud-based platform automatically gathers information at each stage in the talent process, including recruiting, performance, learning, development and compensation.

Users also have access to Taleo's database of more than 200 million talent profiles, which yields information on comparative talent analytics around recruiting trends, performance indicators and job competitiveness.

The framework also includes Taleo's Talent Grid, designed to provide instant access to a talent-management ecosystem that includes more than 4,800 customers, 200 million candidates and 100 partner solutions in 218 countries.

Automated Amendment Module

Wolters Kluwer Law & Business released ftwPro Amend, a new module designed to allow pension professionals to create customized amendments by selecting specific changes made to a plan-document checklist.

The new module is designed to automatically generate a board action, a custom summary of material modifications and an amendment. The system is also designed to keep track of all modifications to the document checklist and will permit a user to prepare an amendment based on the last 10 modifications made in a plan-document checklist. Users can select which of the last 10 changes will be included in the amendment.

The module is available for any prototype-style document offered by the company that includes defined contribution, defined benefit, cash balance, 403(b), ESOP and all of a company's welfare documents.

Corporate Wellness Program

Human Touch, a provider of innovative massage chairs headquartered in Long Beach, Calif., launched its Feel Better @ Work program, designed to incorporate massage therapy and relaxation into the workplace environment.

The program is designed to offer employees a 24/7 massage therapy benefit in the workplace with the goal of reducing employee stress, improving productivity, reducing absenteeism, improving recruitment and retention and augmenting existing corporate-wellness efforts and the ability to .

As part of the program launch, Human Touch is looking to establish a limited number of corporate partnerships to pilot the program and measure its effectiveness. Participating employers will receive two complimentary Human Touch massage chairs to place in their workplace for 90 days. During this time, their employees will be encouraged to use the massage chairs daily and provide feedback via surveys and interviews.
